Students will learn the basic techniques of binding the frame of a kudzu egg basket, attaching grapevine ribs to shape the bottom, and then weaving the body of the basket with split kudzu vines. Participants will leave the workshop with a completed egg basket made from kudzu vines.

Meet Your Instructor: I am a retired Children's Librarian from Oxford, MS. I love crafting--especially basket weaving and knitting. I have been weaving baskets from kudzu vines for twenty years but only really started weaving and teaching full-time once I retired from the library in 2018.
