Handmade seamless socks are so cozy! Learn the basics of sock construction so you can have an endless supply for yourself! In this class, we will make a short version of a sock so we will have time to practice all the techniques involved in creating a pair. You will learn the parts of a sock, working cuff down in the round, turning the heel, working the gusset, shaping the toe, the kitchner stitch, and tips on sizing your socks.
Skill Level: Beginner
Class Size: 3–10 students
Meet Your Instructor: Katie Clark has been crocheting and knitting for over 35 years. A member of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi, she has been teaching fiber arts at her LYS and regionally since 2009. Her love of fiber and teaching drive her desire to build confidence and skill in her students. She is dedicated to the ongoing support of her students to encourage their success in making beautiful things. Her home is in Madison, MS where she lives with her family, dogs, cats, and a ridiculous stash of yarn.
