Are you fascinated by quilt designs, Moroccan mosaics, or even the tilework on your floor? You can use these as inspiration for your next blanket! In this class, we will identify shapes in geometric designs like a traditional quilt. Then we will learn how to knit or crochet some of the most common shapes. After experimenting with some design options, we will practice making various motifs to include in our designs. Finally, we will look at options for joining our motifs for different effects. You will leave with ideas, inspiration, and templates to create your own quilt inspired blanket at home. Bring all of your stitchy friends because this class is suitable for knitters and crocheters!
Skill Level: Intermediate
Class Size: 3–15 students
