First Stitches: Learn to Knit in 3 hours — Friday Morning

In this workshop:

Students will learn to cast on, knit, and bind off, while gaining and understanding the basic stitches and terminology of knitting.

We will begin a small project together and students will leave class with the knowledge, resources and confidence to finish independently.

Supplies: All supplies will be provided

Skill Level: Beginner

Class Size: 2–10 students

Meet Your Instructor: Jana lives in southeast Wyoming with her husband of 36 years. He has learned to accept that she’s crazy cat lady with six indoor cats, and a whole clowder of barn cats. Jana hosts the Purl Together YouTube channel with over 70k subscribers. In 2022, her channel received the Knitting Circle's Best Vlog/YouTube Channel Award. Jana loves teaching knitting and is deeply committed to her students' experiences. When not knitting, she enjoys geocaching, and exploring the wilderness on backpacking trips.
