Embroidery with Yarn — Saturday Afternoon

This 2 hour class will teach you how to embellish your garments with embroidery using yarn. We will cover basic stitches to reinforce your fabrics and spend some time creating art! Students should bring anything they want to embroider with yarn and any specific scrap yarn or fabric they would like to use (yarn will also be available for you to use).

Skill Level: Newbie Beginner

Materials Provided: Transfers, stabilizer, embroidery needles, scrap yarn, book list.

Note: Price includes supplies.

Meet Your Instructor: Katy, your personal yarn enabler, wants to help you find the perfect yarn and accessories for the perfect project. She has been knitting for more than a decade and has been in the yarn industry for almost as long. She has taught in a variety of settings including the special education classroom and believes that everyone has something special to bring to the (fiber) table.
